The Government of Pakistan and Government of Punjab have focused on promotion of higher education leading to a knowledge based society in the country. HEC has promoted academic excellence and professional development in the country through its focus on Ph.D. and other projects. These efforts have led to vibrant economic gains for the country. The Government has subscribed higher education through liberal funding, yet keeping the fees structure affordable for the up coming generation having talent. Fortunately Government efforts are bringing fruit. University enrollment, Ph.D. programs, infrastructure development and new campuses are expanding.
